Q: Are there minimum and maximum age limits for enrolment and shooting?
A : Any person above the age of 10, fulfilling the basic fitness requirements, is welcome to shoot. On the other end of the limit, again, fitness is all it takes and not numbers.
Q: Does an Air Rifle or Air Pistol need a license to own or use?
A:The rifles and pistols that are used by us for the training and in competitions do not need any license to be used or owned, as per the Indian Arms Act, 2016.
Q: How to choose between Rifle and Pistol shooting?
A:A lot of factors are considered before you choose a particular category for e.g. – Body Structure – If you have a strong upper body – you may be more suited for Pistol shooting. Both Rifle and Pistol shooting have their own thrill and most people seem to instantly belong to one of the two. However if you are unable to decide, there are mentors who can help you out with it.
Q: Can I shoot if I have poor/weak eye sight?
A:Surely, a lot of the top shooters do not have a 20/20 vision and still shoot very well. All you need is a corrected vision.
Q: Is it a problem to pursue the sport if I am left handed?
A:Not at all! However, you would need specific equipment which the academy can provide.
Q: How long does it take for a beginner starting from zero to reach a benchmark up to nationals?
A:Training with our expert coaches and mentors, it would take about 6 to 9 months with training 3 to 4 hours a day for about 4 to 6 days a week, depending on the learning curve of the individual.
